B2M tells the story of a photographer's one-day tour of Manhattan. It is excerpted from a project entitled Invest in Yourself - NYNY which will feature some two hundred photographs of New York City and is slated to be completed by the fall of 2023.
The day begins with a photograph of the famous Brooklyn Promenade - which offers a mythical view of Manhattan across the East River - against the backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge by which commuters and tourists can access Manhattan by car, Subway or on foot. It continues with the Subway trip, scenes in the streets of Manhattan, and then the return to Brooklyn at the end of the day.
Tip: You have to read the photographs as if you were reading a book. Take the time to look at the details and make the connections between the photographs. Take your eye on a walk with the photographer.
